Dr. Qaisar Ali is Professor at Department of Civil Engineering, University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar, Pakistan. Now a days he is also working as Pro-Vice Chancellor of the UET Peshawer. He has played a key role first in establishing and then in expanding the first ever Earthquake Engineering Center of Pakistan. The center with the installation of a 6mx6m shake table, pseudo dynamic and base isolation testing facilities has now become one of the World’s biggest research centers in the field of earthquake engineering.

Tasawuf is the soul of Islam. Its function is to purity the heart from the lowly bestial attributes of lust, calamities of the tongue, anger, malice, jealousy, love of the world, love of fame, niggardliness, greed, ostentation, vanity, deception, etc. At the same time, it aims at the adornment of the heart with the lofty attributes of repentance, perseverance, gratefulness, fear of Allah, hope, abstention, tauheed, trust, love, sincerity, truth, contemplation, etc.
